First, you would create the various \u201cenvelopes\u201d needed, including essential expenses such as rent, groceries, bills, and debt payments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then you would assign a specific amount of money you wanted or needed to have in your envelope to cover the costs. You would only permit yourself to spend the money in each \u201cenvelope\u201d and avoid overspending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most significant downsides of GoodBudget is that you can\u2019t sync up your financial accounts. You\u2019ll need to enter each purchase that you make manually. Another issue is that there are two versions of GoodBudget.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The free version includes the same features as the paid version but only allows one account and 20 envelopes for up to two devices.
